This is my selected professional development project that I designed and made for PTP. „Fun with Photons: An Interactive Learning Collaboration“ was an educational experiment that involved PhD candidates from my photonics lecture MSE 704 at NC State and middle school students from The Exploris middle school in downtown Raleigh. The graduate students from my lecture became teachers and taught the story of optics to a group of 5th graders. Everyone who was involved learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
